Biography:

Diksha Mehan, Esquire was born and partially raised in India.  At the age of 13, Diksha migrated to the US with her family.  English was her second language but soon she excelled in her academic career and obtained a full scholarship from Nova Southeastern University and graduated from law school in 2005.  She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2005 and began practicing immediately thereafter.  Ms. Mehan obtained employment with Borack and Associates litigating consumer and commercial debt collection matters.  Shortly thereafter, Ms. Mehan moved to Scott J. Brook, P.A. practicing Workers’ Compensation and Family Law.  During her employment at Scott J. Brook, P.A., Ms. Mehan obtained the position of a managing attorney for the Family Law Division where she managed and litigated family law cases varying from simple matters resulting in an agreement in three weeks to complex litigation involving guardian ad litems and child psychologists for child related issues and forensic accountants for division of marital assets and liabilities. 

Ms. Mehan is currently the Managing Attorney for the Family Law Division at the Law Offices of Andrew Rier, P.A.  Ms. Mehan manages the Family Law division with the assistance of other attorneys and support staff.  The focus for Ms. Mehan and this division is to help families and individuals in difficult emotional situations to reach solutions which are acceptable, efficient and cost-effective for the clients.  Our team is compassionate yet aggressive and obtains fruitful resolutions for our clients via mediations and trials.  Ms. Mehan produces aggressive courtroom litigation, and the first option should never be taken off the table.
